What is Delta-8 THC?

An isomer of a well-known cannabinoid, Delta-9 THC.

Most people are familiar with Delta-9 THC, the psychoactive component found in marijuana-schedule cannabis plants. Where the Delta-9 THC has a double bond in the 9th position and activates only the CB1 receptor, the Delta-8 THC has the double bond on the 8th position and activates both the CB1 and CB2 receptors. This provides somewhat similar psychometric effects to Delta-9 THC, but many users have described their experiences as completely unique. All of our Delta-8 THC is derived from hemp and is completely legal.
